Turning sun-safety science into classroom habits.
Our mission is to make evidence-based sun protection a normal, lifelong habit, starting with the children of Springfield, Illinois, and the adults who guide them.
We start in our own community, but our vision reaches further. We have ongoing efforts to expand into Chile, Belize, and India, and your donation and support will make all the difference in bringing sun-safety education to children around the world.

Our roadmap
- 1Phase 1
Launch & pilot
Deliver lessons in a first cohort of Springfield-area elementary classrooms and gather baseline data.
- 2Phase 2
Evaluate & formalize
Analyze pre/post surveys, refine the curriculum, and formalize partnerships and materials.
- 3Phase 3
Scale & sustain
Expand to more schools and build sustainable funding, training, and policy support.
Built on the evidence
Our lessons align with CDC school guidelines and draw on evaluated sun-safety curricula, so what we teach reflects the best available research rather than guesswork.
Measured for impact
Pre/post surveys let us track what children learn and how their habits change, turning every classroom visit into data that improves the next one.
Partners
We collaborate with local institutions to reach classrooms and ground our work in public health.
